According to an article published in the Diabetología magazine of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes, frequent consumption of alcoholic beverages is linked to a lower risk of diabetes.
The study, which was conducted by Professor Janne Tolstrup, further evaluated which drinks could be most beneficial. Wine and beer lead the list; They are followed by the great quantity of liquors existing in the market.
Other research centers in Europe, on the other hand, dismissed that the study had 100% validity because they considered that "the sample is not representative of a significant population group".
In addition, those responsible for the study say they invite people to moderate their consumption of alcohol because, exceeding consumption, could be linked to other types of conditions that are dangerous for humans.
