And sure, it may be a fun game, but it's worth remembering that any app that tracks your location can be dangerous if you're a cheater cheater pumpkin eater. Queens, NY resident Evan Scribner learned that the hard way when his girlfriend found out he had been hanging out with his ex in Bushwick, a neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY, thanks to the app's geolocation feature.
"She saw that I had caught a Pokémon while at my ex's house," Scribner told The NY Post.
Since making the discovery, Scriber's girlfriend hasn't talked to him and it appears he's back on the market.
Next time, might be better to keep your balls to yourself!
