A "drunk" squirrel has gone on a rampage at a private members club in England, according to the BBC.

"Drunk" squirrel causes mayhem at private members club

The naughty rodent was caught "staggering" around the Honeybourne Railway Club near Evesham in Worcestershire by the club's secretary Sam Boulter, with a trail of destruction in its wake.

"There were bottles scattered around, money scattered around and he had obviously run across the bar's pumps and managed to turn on the Caffrey's tap," Boulter said.

"He must have flung himself on the handle and drank some as he was staggering around all over the place and moving a bit slowly."

"I've never seen a drunk squirrel before. He was sozzled and looked a bit worse for wear, shall we say. He was sozzled and looked a bit worse for wear, shall we say."

Boulter reckons the pissed squirrel caused some £300 ($470) of damage. After a game of cat and mouse (or man and squirrel), he caught the felon in a rubbish bin and released it out of the window, presumably barred for life.
