Rockstar dad creates workshop to teach fathers how to style their daughters' hair

Good Samaritan Philippe Morgese is helping hair-styling-challenged dads by hosting workshops on creating ponytails, braids and buns, so their poor daughters can stop suffering from chronic bedhead.

"I'm so proud of those that showed up and tried their best...You guys rocked it! I can't express that enough," Morgese writes on Facebook.

Morgese, who is a single father, has been earning praise from the Internet for encouraging dads to take an active role in their daughters' lives — even if it takes lots of practice and a few knots along the way.

Reddit user kel-c writes:

This melted my heart! And your daughter will always remember this. My stepdad came into my life when I was about 2, and he was totally unsure of how to go from being a single guy to being a dad to a 2 year old. But I would bring him my brush for him to comb my hair and he would do his best. On the first day of school I didn't go to my mom for a ponytail, I went to him. And after that, he always did my hair for school. It's such a fond memory I have of him and it was a great way for us to bond.
