Having happy feet isn't just about looking good in open-toe shoes or sandals.

These 2 ingredients can save your feet without expensive pedicure

It turns out, the health of our feet is connected to our general health. But even still, most of us tend to neglect our poor little tootsies.

So I thought I'd let you in on a simple way to take care of your feet without shelling out a lot of money.

All you need are two ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen.

Many people treat themselves to regular pedicures—and there's nothing wrong with that.

But going to the spa can be expensive and buying store-bought products comes with a hefty price tag.

Fortunately, though, it's super simple to make your own foot treatment. All you need are two common ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen.

What you need:

About a liter of milk
3 tablespoons of baking soda

Directions:

Heat the milk on the stove until it's hot but not boiling. Then, pour it into a basin or bowl that's big enough to fit your feet.

Next, add the baking soda and stir until it dissolves. Then, check the temperature before you dip your feet into the milk.

Now, sit back, relax, and soak your feet in the liquid for 10 minutes.

When you're finished, wash your feet with warm water and dry them thoroughly. If you do this several times a week, your feet will be soft, smooth, and happy!

Give your feet some love.

Pampering yourself doesn't have to be expensive.

Usually, tried and true home remedies work just as well as expensive store-bought products.
