"The fast food dishes 'you should never order' have been revealed - by the people who say they work in the restaurants that serve you.

The fast food dishes 'you should never order' according to the employees themselves

Thousands of people have commented on a Reddit thread which claims to reveal the truth about fast food and how fresh it really is.

In one post on the 'Fast food workers - What should we never order from you?' thread, a Reddit user claims a burger chain has the unofficial saying 'They're not old until they're sold!'.

Wrinklestiltskin wrote: "My brother's girlfriend used to work at Wendy's and a saying there was (about fries) 'They aren't old until they're sold.'"

A spokesman for Wendy's told the Mirror: "That’s not our standard. We work hard to serve hot and crispy French fries."

Starbucks also came under criticism and was accused of reheating frozen food for customers.

One user alleged: "All Starbucks food is reheated frozen food. Ridiculous how little people realize that.

"Doesn't mean it doesn't taste good, it's just not fresh at all and incredibly overpriced."

Another said: "Worked at Starbucks for a while and had a lady ask us if we were baking anymore banana bread for the day...The look on her face when I told her it comes to us on a truck."

Alleged employees urged customers not to order from the 'secret menu' because staff 'don't know how to make it'.

One employee said: "Don't order something from the secret menu. We sure as s*** don't know what a Snickerdoodle frappuccino is, as it is not a menu item.

"Employees would be more than happy to make you a drink if you just explain the recipe rather than the name of it."

Subway was accused of its 'oven roasted chicken' actually being boiled in the microwave.

Firecrackers added: "I just left my shift at Subway. Our grilled chicken apparently was 'pink' according to the guy who called the restaurant.

"It's already cooked and we still have problems with it."

Mexican food chain Chipotle was snubbed for its portion sizes.

One user posted: "I used to work at chipotle, and never ever ever order the Tacos. You get less than half the regular portions.

"Instead, order a bowl with whatever you want in it, then ask for the taco shells, hard or soft, on the side."

A spokesman for Chiptole told the Mirror Online: "When menu items at our restaurants are made correctly, the portion sizes are the same whether you get a burrito, bowl or tacos. It should all be the same".

Wow, I mean you have to share this information. A lot of your friends eat this!!
